Trent is a teacher, performer, and choreographer out of Houston, Texas. Trent received a BA in Psychology and Mathematics from Morehouse College and was recently accepted into Florida State University MFA program. He won 1st place for National Society of Arts & Letters and also the prestigious Wilson-Auzenne Graduate Assistantship for Minorities.
He was a member of Dayton Contemporary Dance Company of Dayton, Ohio. His choreography has been commissioned and performed nationally and internationally at performance venues such as The Dallas Morning News Dance Festival, The American College Dance Festival, The MAD (Modern Atlanta Dance) Festival, The Fringe Festival, New York and The Fringe Festival, Austin. He also has received scholarships to study at The Ailey School, American Dance Festival, Florida Dance Festival, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and Deeply Rooted Production.
